Troon Country Club is a private, member owned golf club that strives for a world-class membership experience. The focal point of the Troon Country Club is the spectacular championship golf course designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish. The architecture of the clubhouse was inspired by the grand style of Frank Lloyd Wright and provides a unique blend of comfort and formality. This 50,000 square-foot clubhouse features both casual and fine dining, a full fitness center with personal trainers, 3 grass tennis courts, a golf pro shop, a lagoon-style pool and many member only social activities.
Troon Country Club Golf Course
The championship, Par-72, 18- hole golf course is one of the main focal points of the Troon Golf Club. The course was designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish in 1986. It is very challenging yet fun and is enjoyed by both beginner and advanced golfers. It has consistently ranked amongst the top one hundred golf courses in the world by the golf press. In 2008 Golf Digest ranked this course as the tenth best course in Arizona while The Best of Arizona Business ranked it as the “Best Private Golf Course”. Troon Country Club is a course that can be played and enjoyed by the Pros and members of all abilities. It was named after Royal Troon in Scotland and members even have limited reciprocal use of Royal Troon.

Pro Shop
The Golf Shop was awarded “PGA Private Golf Shop of the Year” in 2004. It is well stocked with a wide variety of the best brands of clothing, shoes, clubs and accessories.
Golf Instruction
The Golf Professionals are on staff to assist members with lessons, golf clinics and personalized service to improve your skills. The Teaching Professional has received “PGA Teaching Professional of the Year” numerous times. He is highly qualified to provide outstanding service to all levels and abilities.

Clubhouse
The 50,000 sq ft clubhouse offers spectacular sunsets and city views over the lush green fairways of the course. The patio overlooks the golf course and pool, making it the perfect spot for cocktails and gatherings. There is both casual and fine dining options for members. Enjoy a casual meal at Poolside or the Men’s Grill. Fine dining is available in the Quail’s Nest. The chef and his staff strive to impress you with delectable fare and the highest quality of service. The Quail’s Nest also serves nightly hors d’oeuvres which adds to the camaraderie of members. The Troon Room is the banquet room and is available for member functions with capacity of 50 to 250. Take out is an additional service offered to members by the restaurant staff, with curbside pick up available.
Recreation
In addition to world class golf, Troon Country Club offers an attractive pool area, lighted tennis courts and a fitness center. The Tennis Center maintains an active tennis program for enthusiasts and casual players. The Tennis Pro offers instruction, clinics and workouts for members. The Fitness Center is beautiful with 3000 sq ft of state of the art machines. There is a wide assortment of cardiovascular machines and free weights. Personal fitness trainers offer exercise classes and private training sessions. Luxurious men’s and women’s locker rooms include TV’s, card rooms, showers, saunas, steam rooms and Jacuzzis.
Memberships
There are two types of memberships, social and golf. There are currently 332 golf members and 141 social members, which means the remaining membership opportunities are very limited. There is not a real estate requirement to become a member at Troon Country Club. New members are warmly welcomed and have an opportunity to meet and make friends easily through features such as “open play” in golf and tennis, or a multitude of social offerings.
Golf Memberships entitle members to full access to all clubhouse and social activities, fitness facilities, dining and golf throughout the year. Memberships are limited to a total of 360 golf and 160 social. There are several membership fee options all of which are subject to change at any time:
Golf Equity – $85,000 (50% equity). $30,000 down, $20,000 year 2, $20,000 year 3, $15,000 year 4. 50% refundable until final payment. $42,500 refundable thereafter. $890 monthly dues.
Golf Non-Equity – $55,000 (non-equity). $27,500 down, $27,500 year 2. Payments are non refundable. $890 monthly dues.
Intermediate Golf – $55,000 (non-equity) for ages 21-45. $5,000 down, $5,000 per year to age 50 then remainder of $55,000 if any, due at age 50. Payments are non-refundable. $625 monthly dues.
Social Memberships entitle members full access to all clubhouse and social activities, dining, fitness facilities, tennis and options for golf privileges during the summer months of mid-May through September. High season golf (October through Mid-May) is not available to Social Members except as guests of Golf Members (up to 6 times per season).
Social Memberships – $6,500 Initiation fee, non refundable but can be applied towards upgrade to golf membership, $325 monthly dues.
