There is a new hiking trailhead coming to the Troon Scottsdale area. We are very excited about this as it will add one more option to the already fantastic hiking in North Scottsdale’s McDowell Sonoran Preserve.
The new trailhead will be located near Alma School Pkwy and Dynamite Blvd right in the heart of Troon Village. It will offer additional parking for those that like to come out to this area, as well as restrooms, covered ramadas for gatherings, drinking fountains and much more.
The City of Scottsdale is striving to make sure that this trailhead integrates into the natural surroundings that this area offers. Their goal is to ensure that there is a limited visibility of structures to preserve the natural scenery and desert settings.
