Troon is an 1,800-acre master-planned community in prestigious North Scottsdale. It is considered by many to be one of Arizona’s finest golf communities. The majority of Troon North is gated and many of the homes were built as either custom or semi-custom homes. The homes with a backyard view of Pinnacle Peak carry a premium. Troon North development started in 1989 and continues today. There are still some vacant lots available for brand new construction. Troon North is well known for its huge granite boulders lying in the midst of saguaros, Troon Mountain and Pinnacle Peak. The majority of Troon North residents are part-time owners from around the country. Many of the homes in Troon North surround the green fairways of the Troon North Golf Courses. There are two championship level golf courses: the Pinnacle and the Monument, which were designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish. The Troon North Golf Club is semi-private with membership options available only to Troon property owners. |
